I get so jacked when I get new flies in from Chris. He’s been tying on the low country for as long as I can remember. (25years). So to say he’s been typing for that long is an understatement. I’m looking forward to some warmer temps and tails in the air. That’s not to say these flies can’t be used on the low water. I have found them to be very effective on both tide stages. To say the least we have been having some fun w the reds. High tide and low tide have been producing well. It will be interesting to see what happens after this cold front on the high’s. Water temps have been falling pretty fast so our days may be numbered on the high till warmer weather or spring. There a few striper running around, but it has been a bit hit and miss. All in all fly fishing around the Savannah, and Hilton head area has been good with beautiful weather until this week. I’m already awaiting the warming trend. lol.
