A few weeks ago Paul Rankin and I were looking for some fish that havn’tbeen beat down. We just so happen to come across the Bay of Pigs! These fish are big and shallow. Seems as though the school is all 20 lbs plus fish and they cruise with their backs out. Damn it man! The past week has been as good of red fishing in the shallows as I have seen with some big fish in real shallow water. The winds have been light, the bugs a pain in the ass, but the fish,

oh the fish!

Man March has been a bitch! One day the fish are happy, weather is great and the next your holding on for dear life on a 30mph gust of wind shooting ya down the flat like a rocket. All in all though the fishing has been good if you get one of the nice days with trout and reds around. Water temps are on the way up so Trips and cobia will be along soon and I’m ready!
