We have had some wind, but at least it’s been from the Northeast bringing much larger tides than predicted.  This means more tailing fish !!  There have been plenty of targets to toss flies at.  As anyone who has done much tailing fishing seeing them is the easy part getting them to eat is another whole story though.  Here are a few of the fish that were unlucky enough to come across some of my anglers.

Well it’s been taking it’s time but spring is here, and that being said cobia are moving into the area.  Reports have some cobia being caught on the Broad river with fly and conventional tackle.  Time to pull the big rods out and dust them off.  The trout now how come back out to play and reds are tailing nicely in the grass.  As the water temps climb expect to see some fun days fishing with new species showing themselves giving us the chance to chase a few things besides red fish.  Don’t get me wrong I love to put clients on reds but a change of pace is nice after a long winter of reds.  Hopefully I will get the chance to go chase some cobia soon.  Keep your fingers crossed that this years cobia run is stronger than last years.
