March has been something. We have had wind, rain, hot, and cold weather. It seems as though we had all those in the past 2 days. Ryan Kennedy has been fishing with me for some years and doesn’t mind some tough conditions. We dealt with rain and wind one day and 20 plus mph winds on the second day. All and all it was a good two days of fishing and exploring some new areas, a few places had fish and a few didn’t. It won’t be long now and the Triple Tail will start showing up down south, and as the water temps climb more species will be showing up.

Light winds and small tide are making for good fun. There is a bunch of bait showing up and the fish are taking advantage of it big time ! Paul has been fishing with me some time now, and lately he’s been offered up some tough conditions. Not this go round. First flat we stopped at, we had a nice school of fish tailing and flashing in about 6 inches of water. On Pauls first cast he had about 10 eats, I could see the fish bull rising the fly, just didn’t get the hookup. On the second cast, a nice red pounded Chris Webbers Bunny Tail fly. The second flat we stopped at we had a amazingly good time chasing some 15 lbs fish around, getting one to the boat ad just missing a couple of other eats.
