We have had some wind, but at least it’s been from the Northeast bringing much larger tides than predicted.  This means more tailing fish !!  There have been plenty of targets to toss flies at.  As anyone who has done much tailing fishing seeing them is the easy part getting them to eat is another whole story though.  Here are a few of the fish that were unlucky enough to come across some of my anglers.

Scott Richards fished with me one day last week and we had some fun,  so we talked about going again on Monday and after looking at some  of the long term forecast I was not too sure if we were going to make back out.  2p yesterday we decided to go, and what a great decision !  Not a boat on the water ! and that’s rare for the west side of Pickney.  I should have taken a few more pics of the marsh and sunset, it just had such a beautiful look about it, last night had the look and feel of that first cold front of the fall after a long hot summer.  This was Scotts first trip and in the grass and at first we didn’t see to much, but all of a sudden here came the boys.  We bagged this guys and had another good eat,  but while in the grass I have said for the past 20 years it’s a good day when you see’m tailing and it’s a great day when ya get one. or two or three !  For those who love the tailers you know what I mean.
