Winter Time cold

Last Thur and Friday was the first true winter fishing I have done yet this year, and when I say cold, I mean cold windy and nasty.  This being said John Hand, Ben Estes and myself headed out and managed to find some fish.  Both days we started off with reds on the flast and finished with trout on spinning gear.  Stiben and me

Winter time

It may be December but the water temps are hovering in the 60’s,  this is much more like nov.  The trout bite has been good closer to the oceans.  Seems as though all the fresh water has pushed the bulk of the trout towards  the salt.  We have been doing well on top water lures for trout and some good size trout at that.  Top Dog Jr’s have been driving them nuts.  Reds on the flats have schooled up and hungry.  Stripers have been showing up but it has been a hit and miss ordeal.  Coller water may get them fired up and concentrared, only time will tell.patty2patty
