Summer Heat

Looks like the dog days of summer are upon us.  The past couple of days the beach fronts have really come to life with spanish mavkeral and lady fish working baits on the surface.  Poppers on a6wt or 7wt have been the key and plenty of fun.    We’ve  also catching plenty of trout using doa’s under a popping cork.  To stay away from boat traffic while trout fishing we’ve been working sand bar structure with good results.  Reds have been decent with some days better than others, according to the heat.
