Been getting after some triple tail lately, went to triple tail city and hooked four landed one.. didn’t get as many shots as we hoped but every fish we had a clean shot at ate.  Fo whatever reason they came unbuttoned. The trout bite on the beachfronts has been good with nice fish being caught, the outside reefs have been producing a ton of spanish makeral,  all that a man could cast to, or until he runs out of flies. Cobia are still being caught on an assortment of lures flies and bait.tripletriple2

As the title states we have some wind and rain but as I like to say the fish have to eat, so why not go give them some excersize.  Last night Jim Mercer and I set off to look for some tailing reds.  The evening started slow with a 25 mph wind  looking fo shelter was key.  we found both fish and shelter.  Things were looing bad for us.  We had plenty of shots but with the wind and lack of any sun things were tough to say the least.  Bottom of the Ninth last of light and JIM pulls three football looking reds out of the grass.  Tonight on the otherhand Bob Sewell and headed and things got off to a great start. Just as  we   pulled on the flat motor still running we had a fish tailing right in front of us. We managed 3 fish off the bat, then the water just got to deep and to little light.
